Project Manager for Multiple Military Jet Engines & Modules @ Agilis Engineering

I managed a team of 20 + engineers (among multiple disciplines) for both HPC and Fan modules for 2 separate military jet engines. This was in the busy manufacturing quality department . I created a VBA & Access based database to monitor project statuses and provide additional insight and reports to upper level management.

In addition to weekly status meetings to align current management expectations with actual progress, I also created extensive documentation used in onboarding new engineers to the program.

Project success factors

By establishing clear expectations, measurable quotas, identifying issues and creating clear channels of communication, my team and I were able to triple the amount of monthly engine deliveries and reduce quality issues by better aligning our engineers and resources.

If needed, I have previous DOD security clearance and can be quickly cleared for sensitive, confidential projects.

Published Cancer Research in Conjunction with The Moffitt Cancer Center

I developed a series of complex multi variable equations which can be used to find the drug concentration that kills 50% of a tumor within 72 hours. This can be applied in cancer drug experiments to find successful drug concentrations before beginning clinical trials.

The mathematical model was published in Florida Atlantic University’s science journal and the original raw data set was provided by the Moffitt Cancer Center.

Project success factors

I led a team of 2 physicists, a programmer and a mathematician (myself). We accomplished the model development within 2 months. The beauty of the model I designed is that it can be further customized for future clinical applications.
